East Liverpool Christian School is an Ohio EdChoice & West Virginia Hope Scholarship Provider School.  Ohio EdChoice and West Virginia Hope Scholarships are awarded to qualifying students meeting residence or income requirements, and are renewed each school year, following the student and covering tuition.

Three scholarships are available to Ohio and West Virginia students and families.

1. EdChoice Scholarship Expansion: This is an income-based scholarship that has been widely expanded to include all students entering K through grade 12.  The income guidelines have also been expanded to allow families with a higher income to qualify.  This scholarship is available to all Ohio, K-12 students whose families meet the income guidelines, regardless of the school they currently attend, even students who are homeschooled, enrolled in an online program, or already enrolled at a private school like ELCS.  Please see the link for Income Eligibility Guidelines under Important EdChoice Links on this page to determine if your family qualifies.

2. Traditional EdChoice Scholarship. This scholarship offers Ohio K-12 students from underperforming public schools the opportunity to attend participating private schools at no cost to the family.  For the 2026-2027 school year, current Ohio K-12 grade homeschooled or private school students who would be assigned to an EdChoice public school building named on the Designated School List, regardless of where they attended school the previous year, are eligible to apply.

3. Hope Scholarship. The West Virginia Hope Scholarship program offers qualifying West Virginia K-12 students an opportunity to build an individual learning experience that works best for them. The scholarship allows K-12 students to receive financial assistance for tuition costs.  The application deadline to receive a full scholarship is June 15, 2026.  Prorated amounts will be awarded after June 15.
