Position: Financial Secretary

Responsibilities: The Financial Secretary will:
- Manage school accounts including collection of fees, tuition, scholarships, grants, payroll, and purchase orders.
- Processes daily collection and deposit of funds received at school.
- Processes all purchase orders for school building and reconciles credit card statement.
- Manages point of sale for lunch food service.
- Supports Principal, Athletic Director, and Staff in school financial matters, including, budget to actual analysis.
- Prepares monthly bank reconciliation records and reports.
- Perform general office responsibilities.
- Interact daily with students, parents, and staff.
- Perform other duties as assigned or requested by the Principal
Knowledge and Demonstrated Skill Requirements:
- Demonstrate ability to write reports and business correspondence
- Demonstrate ability to analyze job related information, technical procedures, and governmental regulations
- Demonstrate ability to perform mathematical calculations related to job functions.
- Demonstrate knowledge and skills related to school finance.
- Demonstrate ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw conclusions
- Demonstrate proficiency in the use of technology that includes but not limited to Microsoft Office, FACTS Data System, Ministry Works Payroll System, Ohio Department of Education Scholarship Portal, and QuickBooks

Qualifications:
- Minimum Education or Formal Training: High School Diploma and additional job-related training
- Training and/or experience in bookkeeping, accounting, or secretarial tasks
